Rammed stone columns have been used for ground improvement treatment. This is an economical solution to increase bearing capacity of soft clays for small structures or CFS (Container Freight Systems).
We own a very versatile fleet of imported hydraulic piling rigs with a range of 80 KN-m torque to 180 K-N-m torque for drilling 400mm diameters to 1500mm diameters piles. Our fleet includes IMT, Soilmec & Mait rigs. These piles are more commonly done for shoring systems & land bearing foundations.
We have been executing constructions of micro piles using both wash boring rigs (calyx) and pneumatic DTH rigs. Our fleet includes two rigs imported from Italy specially designed for micro piles as per design requirements. Micro piles with 100 MT safe capacity have been built & tested.
We execute both vertical & horizontal inclined rock anchoring systems. Both prestressed and passive anchors are done as per consultants design.
An innovative soil retention system using conventional rigs as an economical solution for shallow excavations was conceptualized by late Dr. V T Ganpule limitations to using this technique have to be taken into consideration before successfully using it.
Normally used in smaller structures and compound walls and drilled / manually. We however used only mechanical / hydraulic machines to drill & concrete these piles.
An integral part of ground engineering, this field work and lab results identify parameter for design of Foundation systems.
